Do Japanese People In Japan Like Black People?

Im a black guy and im almost 20 years old and i plan on going to tokyo japan for a year and i have a friend who lives in wakayama japan and he's black to.And i do know some japanese and i do listen to alot of japanese music and i watch anime as well and i love there culture.And im also kind and respectful to others.And i just want to know because alot of people on the internet says that the japanese don't like black people and i kind of felt bad about it.So do japanese people like black people
