How To Deal With Being Unique In Highschool?

Hi...im a freshman girl in highschool. I get alot of stares some mainly disgusted because of how i dress. I at times mix and match clothing and i look some what like an "anime" charactor. I am into gothic/emo styles and accesories but i mix alot of things together. I wore a gothic corset dress to school and ive been given wierd stares and few compliments.
