Dog With Infected Toe, What Should I Do?

My husband has had two yorkie since they were babies. They had frostbite injuries on their toes and ears. They're missing parts of their ears and their toes are very deformed where the toenails curl and emerge in different directions. The other day one of them started limping. We thought maybe they were just doing the trick knee they get a lot but he kept limping and got pouty. We looked and it looked like either he chewed an entire toenail off or it got snagged in something and came off. No
