How Do I Put Manga Directly Onto My Ipod Touch?

Hi, im going on a trip soon for summer vacation and i was wondering if there was anyway i could put manga that i have downloaded onto my ipod touch? Its a 4th generation and i dont want to download a bunch of crap to just get it on my ipod. i dont want an app that i need wi-fi for and i would just like to know how i can transfer the files onto the iBooks app on my ipod. Is there a simple easy way to do this? Please help!
