Was watching a drama from Thailand - called Dok Soke or something like that.
In it, the main actor is around 20 when he spots a poor girl on a street. She's a kid - maybe 5 years old. He goes home and draws her portrait. Since then, he follows her around. As it turns out, she gets adopted into a rich family where her stepmom and sister hate her. She cries all the time. He rescues her all the time and tries to cheer her up. She turns 18 or 20 and he confesses his love for her. I mean
