KRISTEN MACKAY slowly sits up in her small hospital bed. She grabs the remote from the table to the left of her bed and turns on the news. Pictures of JAMES HOYT and his cabin flash across the screen. Kristen rewinds and pauses it on the picture of him, while crying hysterically. A young woman with long blonde hair enters the room.
