What Anime Duo Should My Friend And I Cosplay For Shotokon 2012?

We are both male, 20 years old as well. We both workout a lot and are quite fit. I am 5'10 and 155lbs, brown straight hair and pretty dark skin for a white guy. Think Gene Starwind with brown hair, no tats and no scars. My friend is 5'8 and 150 lbs. He has curly brown hair and keeps it really short; he's also dark but not as dark as me. We want to go to shotokon in July in Baltimore, MD and this is the first convention we've ever been to and first cosplay. We need ideas from more mainstream
