I Can't Remember The Name Of This Manga? Or Where I Can Read It?

I read this manga about a year or two ago, it revolved around the future or an alternate universe. The main character was a boy whom had a father that created robots/cyborgs. The earth had turned into a wasteland and he met up with a mayan/indian girl who later on dies after getting chopped up by lazers. My memory is very hazy, but I think the main idea was that he wanted to overthrow the government that ruled with his fathers cyborgs. The drawing style was pretty old. I know it had the words
