How Do I Keep A Heavy Wig From Sliding Off?

I bought a wig to cosplay the anime character Grell. It is 42 inches long and starts to slip back a coupple minutes after wearing it. I could not wear this to a convention because I would have to keep going into the bathroom to fix it. please
