Should I Buy A Pen Tablet?

I'm planning to draw/write a comic book, so I've started to learn how to draw manga because my current style doesn't fit what I want in the comic. I'm planning to draw the whole thing in pencil and edit it in Manga Studio, and most of the tutorials I've seen use tablets, but I don't have one and they're really expensive.
