I've taken up kendo a month ago, and I really like it so far. I even order my kendo uniform (not the bogu etc. cause i'm not ready for these)
And while i've been training a few others have come from time to time to see how the training is, but they were uninterested. I think that these people were looking for a more 'personal' martial art, where you can beat someone on the street, if need be. Kendo is different, you won't get to beat people up. It's more spiritual after a while, and it has to
