I recently got a laptop that is pretty powerful, so I do not think this is the problem. I believe the internet connection is bad, as I can watch netflix fine on my desktop and Xbox. In addition, other parts of the internet are very slow, as well as online gaming.
I have turned off the firewall for a duration, netflix playback is still slow. I have reinstalled microsoft silverlight, the application running instant play multiple times, the problem still persists.
Any way to optimize internet
