I'm just wondering about this (without sharingan of course) mostly because I'm writing a fanfic.
Normally, in the anime and manga, his eyes are shown as pure black. However, at times his eyes are shown with a grey tint (few pics of him pre-timeskip) and, in a recent episode, right after Naruto saved Sakura, they were shown as grey. It's confusing at times since I don't know how to exactly describe him
