I've had my fish tank for years, but a few weeks ago after a move they suffered ammonia poisoning. Also, I added a few Walmart fish to the tank as I had to combine them after the move as well. I've bought there before, and the only problem I've had was ich, and I did notice a small amount.
Unfortunately, it spread to a few before I made it to the store, which didn't explain why all my fish suddenly started dying without appearing infected or sick (I mostly corrected the water problem).
