yahoo answers, everyone mentions seniors being hurt but no one mentions people on social security due to disability. Are we invisible or something? Some of the people on SSI are profoundly and extremely disabled to the point of being unable to ever work yet are thought of as welfare bums (heard people on ssi referred to as this). Some have multiple disabilities.
Also they call SSI welfare which is not exactly right. My ex-husband worked, in fact overworked being a workaholic.
