I can see why people don't like it. Mostly because they say it's not canon and Toriyama didn't have anything to do with it. But Toriyama is a credited writer of dbgt. He designed the gt logo, the appearance of the main cast, giru and the gt spaceship. Even the super saiyan 4 transformation. Fans incorrectly say that gt wasn't directly written by Toriyama. Also, gt has the least inconsistencies of all three anime series, Dragon Ball, Dragon Ball Z, and Dragon Ball GT.
