i watched it a long time ago not decades but a while and i can't remember the name basically this is what happens it starts at sea (99% certain) and they end up on this island and the people there are like fish men and there is a woman near the end that gets sacrificed to this big octopus like creature. and the man at the end lights himself on fire and then a woman (who is a half fish) drags him into the water.
there is a really strong killing scene where a man gets the skin of his head ripped
