Soul Eater Question?! Lol?

okay, so I've been getting into anime and stuff. and I recently i just finished watching soul eater. It was a great anime I really liked it!! but there is one character in particular i have a question about. I think the name is Crona? or Chrona, or Krona? d: whatever, i've seen it spelled like three different ways, but anyways i was wondering what Crona/Chrona/Krona's gender is? I have no idea what it could be!! :o and I don't necessarily like calling Crona/Chrona/Krona it. -__- thanks!!
