Did I Let This Horse Go For Too Little?? Good Trade?

I had a 9 year old gelding that I got in June at auction for $800...I kept him till the end of Aug. and sold him for 2200 (was asking 2700) We sold him to the very first person who came to see him...(had probably 10 lined up to see him within a couple days of his ad being up) We had to sell him before we could bring in our other horse that we bought (new horse came the morning the last one got picked up) Since then I have gotten a few calls asking if he is still availible...Also I found a video
